Unsigned   Unlabeled   One Price   One Size   One Night

Art lovers and bargain hunters mark your calendar!  The second, biennial anonymous Whodunit? art exhibit and sale is off to a raging start!  To date, over 175 artists have confirmed their participation in this exciting event.  Check out the line up thus far and keep your eyes peeled for more to come…

Whodunit? is a unique, one night art sale and fundraiser beginning May 5th in ArtSpace gallery.
Artists are generously creating new works on 6-inch canvases, which will sell for $99 in drawings at the close of the show, Friday, May 9th. Adding to the anticipation, the identity of the artist will remain unknown until the final night when canvases are purchased and signatures on the back revealed!
For a cool $99, you might steal away with an original from Thom Ross, Marshall Noice, Sheila Norgate, Bernd Haussmann, September Vhay, Andrea Broyles or Tom Woodhouse. Or grab hold of an up and coming artist from the valley or anywhere else in the country…

How will it work?
First, preview the work! Visit ArtSpace the week of May 5th, from 9am - 7pm daily. Previewing will give you a leg up on the crowds!

The sale and reception is Friday, May 9th, from 5:30 – 8:30pm. ArtSpace gallery will be cleared at 7pm to begin the draw for names. Admission is $5 for your Whounit? pencil.

Accompanying each original is a registry sheet with a limit for ten names. We encourage you to write your name on as many canvases as you love, increasing your chances for taking home a prize. At the close of the evening, names will be drawn for the paintings with more than one name; those with only one name will automatically be sold to the lucky person who signed for it.  Last year, all but 15 images sold, for a total of 218!

Whodunit? is the deal of the year! The chance to take home a prize painting, perhaps by a well-known artist, the night of the show for just $99 doesn’t come around very often! How can you beat it?

Thank you artists and art aficionados!
Both the artists’ donations and your purchases will directly support ArtSpace Gallery’s growing exhibition program. The Art Association is committed to bringing dynamic art experiences to Jackson Hole.  Look for Marie Watt, a nationally recognized contemporary Native American artist; her Blanket Stories installation appears this June. Harry Callahan, the late iconic American photographer from the ‘40’s through the ‘70’s in the Loft during August.  And Peter von Tiesenhausen, a well-noted Canadian installation artist will exhibit this September.

If you are an interested artist...
